Privacy Policy

This policy covers georgialea.com and the software we operate, including Bond Tracker and our mobile applications. We do not sell personal information, we run no advertising, and we collect as little as the work allows.
Mobile messaging (SMS)
Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third party. This applies without exception, and overrides anything else in this policy.
What we collect. Only a mobile telephone number, and the fact that the person asked for messages. Nothing else is collected for messaging purposes.
How it is collected. In person, from the individual, at the moment they ask for updates. We never buy, rent or obtain numbers from any other source, and there is no online sign-up form for messaging.
How it is used. Solely to send the specific messages that person asked for. It is used for nothing else — no marketing, no profiling, no analysis.
Our messaging programs.
- Bond Tracker — progress updates on a bail bond the recipient arranged in person at a bonding company office. A tracking link plus up to three updates per bond: paperwork received by the jail, person brought down, released. How consent is obtained, word for word, is shown at georgialea.com/bondtracker/opt-in.html.
- Pray Day — alerts to our own moderator when a prayer request needs review.
Stopping messages. Reply STOP to any message and they stop immediately. Reply HELP for help, or call 678-944-9456. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies by program and is stated at the moment of opt-in.
How long it is kept. A mobile number is deleted when the purpose it was given for has ended. For Bond Tracker, that is three days after the bond completes.
Protection. Numbers are held on access-controlled systems, are visible only to the staff who need them to do the job, and are never exported, sold, rented, or disclosed for anybody else's use.
What we collect
- When you contact us — your name, telephone number or email, and what you asked about, so we can answer you.
- Officer and client records for our staffing work — the details needed to arrange, staff and invoice a post.
- Bond Tracker — see its own privacy policy. In short: a person's name, date of birth and booking photograph are deleted three days after release.
- Our apps — Bird Cage, CourtWatch, Pray Day and Tab Zero each state what they hold in their own policies. None of them runs advertising or analytics.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent personal information to anybody, ever.
- We run no advertising networks and no analytics or tracking services.
- We do not share information with third parties for their own marketing.
Disclosure
We do not sell, rent, trade or transfer personal information to anybody for their own use, and we never disclose it for marketing or promotional purposes.
Mobile telephone numbers and SMS consent are never disclosed to anyone, for any purpose.
Other information may be processed on our behalf by a service provider carrying out a task we have asked for — for example a payment processor completing a payment you made. Such a provider acts only on our instructions and may not use the information for anything else. We also disclose information where the law requires it.
Keeping it
We keep information only as long as it is needed. Some services delete on a fixed schedule — Bond Tracker destroys a person's identifying details three days after release. Business records are kept as long as tax and licensing rules require.
Your choices
Write to info@georgialea.com to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to ask us to delete it. To stop text messages, reply STOP to any message.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version appears at this address with a new effective date.
