Bond Tracker — Terms of Service

Effective August 6, 2026

Bond Tracker is operated by Georgia Law Enforcement. It records the stages of a jail bonding process so that bonding companies and families can follow progress without telephoning the jail.

Who it is for

Accounts are for licensed bonding companies and for jail staff. A company subscribes; the jail pays nothing, and never will.

The record

A recorded time cannot be edited or deleted by anybody, including us.

If a step is recorded in error, the jail's bonding administrator can mark it corrected with a written reason. The original entry remains visible alongside the correction. This is deliberate: a record that can be quietly rewritten is worth nothing.

Text messages

Customers who give a bonding company their mobile number receive a tracking link and up to three progress updates per bond. Message frequency varies and is never more than a few messages per bond. Message and data rates may apply.

Reply STOP to any message to stop them immediately. Reply HELP for help, or call 678-944-9456.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party.

Bonding companies must only enter a number when the customer has asked to be kept posted. Entering somebody's number without their agreement is a breach of these terms.

The jail decides who works at the jail

Subscribing does not entitle a company to operate at any particular facility. The jail's bonding administrator may bar a company at any time. Barring stops new files; bonds already in progress run through to release.

Acceptable use

What we do not promise

Bond Tracker reports what staff have recorded. It does not control the jail, the release process, or how long anything takes, and a time shown here is not a guarantee that anybody will be released at a particular moment. We aim to keep the service available at all times but cannot promise it will never be interrupted.

Records are deleted

Names, dates of birth, photographs and customer mobile numbers are deleted three days after release. Step times are kept thirty days. After that only anonymous totals remain. See the Privacy Policy.

Changes

If these terms change, the new version appears at this address with a new effective date, and subscribers are told before anything that affects them takes effect.
