🌸 PrayDay — Privacy Policy

PrayDay is a daily prayer and Bible study app. This policy is short because our practice is simple: PrayDay does not collect, sell, or profile any personal information. We run no analytics and no advertising, and we never ask your name or email.

One thing does leave your phone, and only when you choose it: a prayer request you deliberately share on the Prayer Wall. Everything else stays on your device. The Prayer Wall section below explains exactly what that means — please read it before you share anything.

Everything stays on your device — except what you share

Your private prayer list, highlights, notes, bookmarks, streaks, game scores, and settings are stored only on your phone. They are never uploaded to us or anyone else. If you delete the app, that data is deleted with it.

The single exception is a request you choose to put on the Prayer Wall by tapping Ask everyone. Writing a request does not share it — the app defaults to Just for me every time, and you have to tap to change that.

No name, no email, no tracking

• You are never asked for a name, an email address, or a password.
• So the wall can work, the app quietly creates an anonymous account for your phone. It holds no personal details — it is a random identifier and nothing else. You do not sign in, and you cannot sign in.
• We use no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind.
• We do not access your contacts, location, camera, microphone, or photos.

Sharing you choose

When you tap Share on a verse or prayer, your phone's standard share sheet opens and you decide where it goes (Messages, Mail, etc.). Nothing is shared unless you choose to share it.

The Prayer Wall — please read this before you share

The Prayer Wall is shared. When you tap Ask everyone, the words you wrote are sent to our server and can be read by every other person using PrayDay. Treat it as public. Please do not put your full name, address, phone number, or anyone else's private business in a request.

What is stored: the text you wrote, the time you wrote it, how many people have prayed for it, and the random identifier of the phone that sent it. No name and no contact details are attached, and nothing you share carries your identity to other readers.

• You choose, every time. A request is private unless you tap Ask everyone, and the choice resets to private after each one.
• Someone reads the wall. A moderator can take anything down. Three people reporting the same request removes it immediately, without waiting for anyone.
• You can take yours back. Tap Take it down on your own request and it is deleted from our server.
• You can report or block. Every request that is not yours has both.
• Requests a moderator removes are kept briefly so a mistake can be undone, then deleted.

Your private prayer list is a different thing entirely and is never shared, never uploaded, and never seen by us.

Scripture and study texts

The Bible translations (KJV, ASV, BBE) are public-domain works bundled inside the app and need no internet connection at all.

The study resources (Matthew Henry, Jamieson-Fausset-Brown, Adam Clarke, Easton's Dictionary, Strong's, Treasury of Scripture Knowledge, Tyndale open notes) are public-domain works too, but they are large, so they are downloaded from georgialea.com the first time you open each one and then kept on your phone. After that first download they work offline. We run that server; it keeps ordinary web-server logs, which include your device's IP address, and we do not use them to build any profile of you.

Audio and the Sunday Service tab

The Sunday Service tab checks georgialea.com for the current sermon list, and sermon audio and artwork come from the church's own podcast host. The Audio Bible streams the public-domain ASV recording from archive.org. Streaming from any of these means that service can see your device's IP address and what you played, under their own privacy policies, not ours. Nothing identifying you is ever sent — no name, no email, no account.

If you never open Sunday Service, the Audio Bible, or a study book, the app makes no network requests at all.

Children

PrayDay is suitable for all ages and collects no information from anyone, including children.
